Children & Youth

Our Sunday's Cool programme caters for children from birth to year7 at school and runs throughout the school term. The children are spilt into three different age groups with a focus on fun, faith, friendship, and food! Sunday's Cool is not limited to Sunday mornings and enjoys many social events throughout the year including Christmas craft workshops, picnics, parties, pageants as well as sleepovers!

If your baby is unsettled our lounge, with a good supply of toys and adjacent to the church, is available.Caregivers are able to view and listen to the service from there.

We are a Kids Friendly accredited Church. Kids Friendly is an initative of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand that recognises the vital contribution children and families make to healthy congregations.

Our youth group currently caters for youth from year8 up. We meet during church on Sunday morning and we also have social activities and youth services at other times during the term.

Once a month from 4.30-6.30pm on a Sunday evening we hold a 'Messy Church' service.  Messy Church is for those who want to follow Jesus, connect with their local church and bring up their children in the Christian Way but who, for various reasons, don't make it to church on Sunday morning.

Each service includes crafts, activites, 20 minutes relaxed worship, music and a catered meal.  (Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult).
